Partnerships in Health Care
The Clinical Learning and Interprofessional Practice (CLIPP) Unit reports to the Saskatchewan Academic Health Sciences Network.
The Saskatchewan Academic Health Sciences Network (SAHSN) was formed in 2002 to provide a vehicle for joint planning and issue resolution among the three sectors involved in the academic health sciences: Post-secondary Institutions, Health Regions, and Government. Governance is provided by a board comprised of senior executive organizations from these three sectors.
The partners include the Saskatoon Health Region, the University of Saskatchewan, the Saskatchewan Institute for Applied Science and Technology, the University of Regina, the Regina Qu’Appelle Health Region, other provincial Health Regions, and the Province of Saskatchewan. Individual partners maintain their primary responsibilities, but where joint collaboration can enhance optimal delivery of service to clients, SAHSN is expected to assist through collaborative practices and processes in the achievement of enhanced service, research, and teaching.
